Tim Jones

Managing Partner

As a Managing Partner for Silver Hill Management Inc. he leads the business acquisition function for the agency. Mr. Jones has drawn on his experience executing high profile events with various recording artist including Musiq Soulchild, Tank, Raheem DeVaughn, Chrisette Michele, Sunshine Anderson, Joe and Brian Mcknight. His extensive event planning, marketing, management and field promotion experience including publicity, logistics, transportation, security, safety, recruitment of staff and scheduling of celebrity appearances has contributed Silver Hill's early success.

As a marketing executive for American Express, Mr. Jones co-produced the company's first Small Minority Business Seminar Series in conjunction with Department of Commerce. The series won his team recognition from the company's presidential committee for Superior Performance. He served as the regional point of contact for the division's event marketing initiatives with philanthropic organizations like Share Our Strength and Special Olympics.

After working in a business development capacity for several corporations, Tim switched gears to focus on his passion for event marketing.  Mr. Jones created a social text initiative that became the model for creating brand ambassadors with the 18-34 demographic. He spearheaded regional event initiatives that included support from campaign spokespersons Catherine Zeta Jones, Dwayne Wade and Charles Barkley.

Mr. Jones served as a senior executive on a 50 million dollar experiential marketing contract for R. J. Reynolds. During his tenure he oversaw the execution of 600 annual local market interactive events in 30 markets. His support was tapped for high profile events such as the BET Awards, Grammy's NBA All-Star Weekend, and Winter Music Conference.  Mr. Jones managed the development of break-through of regional Cultural Influencer program that increased market share for the first time in four years.


Mr. Jones is affiliated with the American Marketing Association and National Alliance of Sales & Marketing Executives, Inc. He is an active supporter of the Susan G. Komen Advocacy Alliance and Memorial Sloan-Kettering's Corporate Cancer Research Sponsors Program.
